He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Burroughs and Margo Burroughs. He is survived by: his wife Kathryn "Kate" Hillebrands Burroughs; his sons, Carlos Burroughs and Jesse Daet; his siblings, Mike Burroughs (Cathy) of Howe, IN, Catherine Schweitzer of White House, TN, Roberta Craig (Richard) of LaGrange, IN and David Burroughs (Jennifer) of Wolcottville, IN; and his siblings-in-law, Don Hillebrands of Holland, MI, Tom Hillebrands of Zionsvillle, IN, Joan Hillebrands of Washington, D. C. and Myra Muth (Jim) of Grand Rapids, MI. He is also survived by several nieces & nephews.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, a Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date when it is safe to do so.
