We are sad to announce that on January 13, 2022, at the age of 72, Teddy Lee Bates of Carmel, Indiana, born in Indianapolis, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herschel "Bud" Bates and Harriett Bates; and his son Nicholas Bates. He is survived by: his wife Julie Bennett Bates; his daughters, Natalie Bates (Kenneth Carey) and Nicole Bates McElwee (Shane McElwee); his granddaughters, Ciara and Ellen McElwee; and his sister Debbie Pate.
