Syliva Marie Kabat Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 11, 2025, at the age of 92, Syliva Marie Kabat of Carmel, Indiana passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Syliva Marie Kabat to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Frank Kabat; her daughter Sharon Griffin; and her daughter-in-law Roseanne Kabat. She is survived by: her children, Bruce Kabat and Joyce Crowder (Terry); her grandchildren, Jenna O'Neil (T. J.), Brad Scriff, Tim Griffin and Adam Crowder (Rachel); her great grandchildren, Tommy O'Neil and Jimmy O'Neil; her siblings-in-law, Lorraine Gorski, Marge Lewandowski and Robert Kabat; and her cousins, Ken Wzorek (Karen) and Mary Ann Clairmont. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM and on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Incarnation Catholic Church (5757 W 127th St, Midlothian, IL 60418). A burial was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 10:45 AM to 11:45 AM at the Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery (801 Michigan City Rd, Calumet City, IL 60409).
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and Alzheimer's Association.
