With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shoil Greenberg of Carmel, Indiana, who passed away on July 30, 2020 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Moishe Greenberg and Ida Greenberg. He is survived by: his wife Valentina; his daughter Anna Sechuga; and his brothers, David and Simon. He is also survived by 2 grandsons, 2 great grandchildren.

“Valya, I just learned of Sasha’s passing. I am so sorry, and I hope you will be alright. He loved you dearly, and was a good friend and colleague to me. I always enjoyed talking to him, and it was only a few weeks ago I talked to him last. He was a good man and a good scientist, and I am proud to have known him. He overcame a lot of difficulties during his lifetime, the kind I can only imagine, and the world is a better place for him having lived his life. I will miss him. —Tom Sappington”
