He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Eula, Evan Bunch, Pat Higley, Don Meggee, Ruth, Pete Levenhagen, Thelma and Warren Bailey.

He is survived by: his daughter Ashlyn Higley; his friend Caroline McCord; his parents, Mike Higley (Pam) of La Porte and Janice Levenhagen (Dave) of La Porte; his sister Michele Kirby (Thom) of Grafton, Ohio; his niece Kaiya Kirby; and his nephew Kaemon Kirby. He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Ryan's memory may be made to the Air Force Aid Society (AFAS), the official charity of the Air Force. (http://www.afas.org). Also, there is an education fund set for Ashlyn thru GoFundMe (https://gofund.me).
