Robert H. Rainier Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 11, 2022, at the age of 84, Robert H. Rainier of Carmel, Indiana, born in Groveport, Ohio passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Robert H. Rainier to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harlan Rainier and Mary Rainier (Hummell); and his sister Merrybird Pyles. He is survived by: his wife Nell of Logan, OH; his sister Dr. Beverly Steinfeld; and his grandchildren, Dr. Michael S. Payne, Steven, Matthew and Natalie Payne. He is also survived by two great-grandsons; as well as several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
At the family's request, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Robert H. Rainier Chair in Industrial Veterinary Medicine and Research at THE Ohio State University (1900 Coffey Rd. Columbus, OH 43210).
