He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert J. Roach and Ada Roach (Welday). He is survived by: his wife Nancy Roach; his daughters, Sharon Marshall (Bill), Marcia Runde (Jeff) and Cindy Smith (Kurt); his grandchildren, Holly (Raphael), Carly (Kyle), Claire (Zach), Peter (Natalie), Jocelyn and Rachel; his great grandchildren, Emmy, Piper, Kellan and Olivier; and his sister Susan Mann-Hitchcock. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and many other family members and friends.
