He was predeceased by: his parents, Verlie Newcomer and Lenore Newcomer (Prinzler); his son Paul Newcomer; and his sisters, Carol Stevens and Janet Massey.
He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Bowlby of Gary; and his children, Jim Newcomer (Sandy) of Bargersville, Dave Newcomer (Cindy) of Zionsville, Marsha Hubbs (late Skip) of Mooresville and Nancy Murphy (Mike) of Indianapolis. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren.
