It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard James Bennett of Carmel, Indiana, born in Kalamazoo, Michigan, who passed away on December 3, 2020, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Eber James and Ruth Marilla Derhammer Bennett; his sister Jean Pierce; and his great grandchild Lily Anna. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Jean Henk; and his children, Jo Ellen Grimes of Summerfield, James Edwin Bennett of Summerfield and Elaine Jeanne Fontana of Summerfield. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.
