He was predeceased by: his parents, Leona Carter and Cleon Carter; and his siblings, Max, Jerry, Marilyn and Madonna.
He is survived by: his wife Nellie Elizabeth Carter (Karnes); his sons, Chad (Susan), Todd (Shanti) and Michael; his grandchildren, Patrick, Andrew, Madison, Alexis, Hazel, Ava and Vella; and his siblings, Martha, Myra, Myron, Jim, Janet, Joanne, Jon, Jill and Jeff.
