She was predeceased by: her parents, Margaret D'Aniella Ferianc and Benjamin Ferianc. She is survived by: her husband Jim Spahn; her daughter Andrea Spahn-McGraw (Matthew); her granddaughters, Matilda McGraw and Sophia McGraw; her cousins, Bill Ferianc (Diane), Rick Ferianc (Cheryl), Diane Ferianc and Linda Wagner (Herb); and her sister-in-law Sharon Spahn Lalkas (Dave).
The family has asked that donations be made to Michigan State University, in memory of Mary Spahn, allocated to the English Department in the College of Arts and Letters mailed to Michigan State University, 535 Chestnut Road, Room 300, East Lansing, MI 48824.
