In the vast expanse of eternity, Mary shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Mary farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Laurence Naffziger and Mary Naffziger; her husband James S. Hook of Bluffton, IN; and her daughter Elizabeth Ann Hook. She is survived by: her children, James (Pattie), John (Nancy), Matthew (Jody) and Mary Dickerson (DuBoris). She is also survived by grandchildren and their spouses, and five great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mark's United Methodist Church (4780 126th St, Carmel, IN 46033). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
