She was predeceased by: her parents, Alpheus Sampson and Nora Sampson (Updike); and her brother Gareth Ward Sampson. She is survived by: her children, SaraBeth Rushmore (Charles) of Carmel and David Thomas of Jeffersonville; her grandchildren, Michael Rushmore (Julie), Timothy Rushmore and Rebecca Rushmore (Jesse Patrick); her great grandchildren, Shelby Rushmore and Addison Rushmore; and her great great grandchildren, Aubrey Fellick, Samantha Fellick, Cassidy Fellick and Ezekiel Fellick.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Faith Church (9125 N College Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46240). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Union Chapel Cemetery (9001 Union Chapel Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46240). She dedicated her home to the glory of God and held a weekly Bible study until the pandemic.
