Margarita Gonzalez Obituary

Margarita Gonzalez, 60 of Carmel, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, April 12, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. Margarita was born January 18, 1962 in Houston, TX to the late Roberto and Carmen Gonzalez.

She had a fulfilling career at Ford Motor Co. for several years and most recently a customer service representative for Republic Services.

Margarita loved spending time in the kitchen, tending to her plants, and calling loved ones at all hours of the day. She had a passion for animals, especially horses. She loved life and laughing and was truly devoted to her family.

Family and friends are invited to gather from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm Friday, April 15 at Flanner Buchanan-Carmel, immediately following will be recitation of the Rosary and eulogies.

Margarita is survived by her daughters, Corrina D. (husband, Kamron) Nekoomaram, Christina M. (husband, Joseph) Ryder, Katarina N. Gonzalez and Sabrina Gonzalez; grandchildren, Eleanor and Evelyn Nekoomaram and Joey Ryder; siblings, Rosemary Maldonado, Dolores Quiroz, Mariana Mendez, Robert Gonzalez, Benedict Gonzalez, Manuel Gonzalez, Martin Gonzalez. She was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Agnes Zakrajsek; nephews, Zachariah Gonzalez, Daniel Gonzalez; nieces, Samantha Gonzalez and Melissa Quiroz.

The family wishes to express sincere thanks to The Cleveland Clinic Neurological Team and her neighbors and friends for their support.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Agape Therapeutic Riding (agaperiding.org).
