She was predeceased by: her children, Constance Pfrang and Derek Earle; her husband Mark E. Bowen; her former husband Lawrence H. Earle; her brother Richard Hamilton Barnes, Sr.; and her nephew Richard Hamilton Barnes Jr..
She is survived by: her daughters, Lannie Corbin (Richard) and Karen Klein (John); her children-in-law, Carl Pfrang and Cheri Earle; her grandchildren, Joey Davidson (Amy), Jake Corbin, Ashley Hoehn (Ian), Chad Corbin (Lauren), AJ Klein (Katy), Austin Klein (Brittney), Addison Earle (Sienna) and Lyndsie Earle; and her nieces and nephews, Kimberly Barnes, Mike Barnes (Edna), Ron Barnes and Kit Earle (Dee). She is also survived by 13 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Lois' memory are suggested to St. Vincent Nurses Alumni, Carmel Clay Historic Society or to Carmel High School Alumni Association.
