He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert W. Nelson and Esther V. Nelson (Walin); his son-in-law Russel Lepore; and his grandchildren, Rose Marie Lepore and William Dawson Stark.
He is survived by: his wife Rose M. Wageman; his children, Gary W. Nelson (Lynette) and Marcia Kay Tetley (Douglas); his grandchildren, Stacey Nelson (Delta), Crystal Perrozzi (Joel), Julie Stauffer (Dan), Joe Lepore (Angie) and James Lepore (Mellisa); his great grandchildren, Kolby Nelson, Jonah Perrozzi, Emilyn, Treycn Stauffer, Audrie, Maison, Payton, Nathan and Gage Lepore; and his sisters-in-law, Wava Wageman and Eileen Wageman. He is also survived by nephews and nieces; a host of friends.
