He was predeceased by: his siblings, Carolyne Abravaya, Clara Wood and Raoul Modiano. He is survived by: his spouse Shirley M. Cohen Modiano; his children, Brian Modiano (Ellen) of Carmel and Steven H. Modiano (Jill) of San Diego; his stepchildren, Roslyn Fantich (Bernard) and Ron Cohen (Beth); his grandchildren, Rachel Johnson (Brent), David, Jacqueline and Alex Modiano; and his great grandchildren, Makayla Johnson and Eliana Johnson.
