He was predeceased by: his father Theodore Spanke. He is survived by: his mother Roseanna Spanke; his wife Mary; his siblings, Jane Walker (Mike), Mary Ellen Boerner (Chris) and David Spanke (Peggy); his sons, Jeff and Joe; his daughters-in-law, Kate and Meghan; his grandsons, Cole and Jackson; and also Mary. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Human Fund, "Money for People," or the foundation of your choice.
