He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edgar Cooksey, Sr. and Fredia Isenhower Cooksey; his stepfather Tommy Lair; his wife Kay; his siblings, George and Erna; and his children, Phil Boothroyd (Rose), Don Boothroyd (Stephanie), Mandy Brooks (Kevin), Sarah Stewart (David), Dawn Cooksey (Mike Cyrus) and Shawn Cooksey. He was also cherished by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
