He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Hunter Anson and Marie Anson (Faust). He is survived by: his brothers, Joe Anson and Jim Anson; his wife Susan Lee Anson; his children, Laurie Gough (John), Lisa Gardner (Dennis) and Jeff Anson (Diana); his grandchildren, Michael Gardner, Nicole Gardner, Christopher Gardner, Niki Ford, Abbey Bass, Torey Williamson, Hope Gough and Grace Gough; and his great grandchildren, Treyton Gardner, Jayden Finkney, Trey Howard, Tylan Howard, Ruby Ford, Leo Ford and Jesse Bass.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting a memorial donation in Jerry's name to be made to The American Cancer Society.
