Dufek of Carmel, Indiana, born in Indianapolis, Indiana, who passed away at the age of 91, on January 10, 2022. He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Dufek and Marie Dufek (Bannert); his former wife Rosemary "Rosie" Dufek; and his brothers, Paul Dufek, Fred Dufek and Jim Dufek.

He is survived by: his wife Betty K. Dufek; his children, Gary Dufek (Tracey), Richard Dufek (Debbie), Karla Skoog (Mark), Luann Callahan (Doug), Jean Hengesbach (Steve), Matthew Dufek and Mark Dufek (Diana); his stepsons, Greg Ellis, Eric Ellis, Steve Ellis (Patty) and John Ellis (Kim); and his brothers, John Dufek (Kay) and Don Dufek (Cathy). He is also survived by 24 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren.
