He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Fred Carter and Mariann Carter; his spouse Jan Janssen; his son Andrew of Denver, CO; his sisters, Carol D'Ambrumenil (Chris) and Cathy McGarry; and his brother-in-law John Janssen (Lana). He was also cherished by several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews and extended family along with a host of friends.
