She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Scheidler and Ada Scheidler; her husband C. Frank Gierke Jr.; and her sisters, Mary O'Malley and Patti Scheidler.
She is survived by: her children, Carl F. Gierke III, Marty Farmer and Carol Cockerham. She is also survived by six grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
