It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet Nell Cook of Carmel, Indiana, born in Albany, Kentucky, who passed away on November 8, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Armstrong and Marjorie Aleen Armstrong; her husband Norman Cook; her brothers, Eddy Armstrong and Timothy Armstrong; her uncle Fred; and her aunt Nellie Leathers (Sissy).
She is survived by: her children, Chris Fancher (Melanie), Janna Kissel (Steve) and Shane Fancher (Michelle); her stepson Brian Cook (Jodi); her grandchildren, Kelly Screnock (Shane), Meredith Hargis, Ted Kissel, Jill Fancher, Dan Kissel (Heather), Kaitlyn Layne (Micah), Arron Fancher (Ema), Emily Fancher, Braden Cook (Brittney) and Jennifer Ward; and her sister Ruth Heckman (Luther). She is also survived by twelve great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
