It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet Rita Duryea of Carmel, Indiana, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on August 30, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Ellefson and Frances Ellefson; her husband Robert Gordon Duryea; and her sister Marie Pond. She is survived by: her children, Robert Craig Duryea (Marjie), Gary Gordon Duryea (Becky), Debra Lynne Mertz (Keith) and Nancy Kay Pilcher (Ken). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
