She was predeceased by: her parents, Keith Smith and Shirley Smith (Miller). She is survived by: her husband Jon; her sons, Elijah and Josiah; her sister Julie Harney (Doug) of Bloomington, IN; her stepbrother Scott Brown of Phoenix, Arizona; her stepmother Jane Smith of West Lafayette, IN; her mother-in-law Karen Ferency of Carmel, IN; her sister-in-law Kelli Hackett (Donnie) of Carmel, IN; her nephew Alex Hackett (Katy) of Charlotte, NC; and her nieces, Abigail Hackett of Carmel, IN, Rachel Hackett of Los Angeles, CA and Grace Hackett of New York.

Jamie was a highly active member of the PTO at Carey Ridge Elementary, serving as Treasurer for many years and was recently a Board member of the Westfield Education Foundation.
