It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Pickering Jr. of Carmel, Indiana, born in Indianapolis, Indiana, who passed away on October 13, 2020, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Pickering and Betty Pickering (Brown). He is survived by: his wife Susan Pickering (Lehr); his sister Diane Giltner (David); his children, Lauren Kashman (Jason) and Griffin "Griff" Pickering; his granddaughters, Claire, Caroline and Georgia Kashman; and his uncle Bill "Ardelle" Pickering. He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
He battled courageously against Parkinson's Disease and Pancreatic Cancer for many years, keeping his vibrant personality and positive spirit along the way.
