James Gus Bovis Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 20, 2023, at the age of 92, James Gus Bovis (Carmel, Indiana), born in Sioux City, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Constantine Bovis and Evmorphia Bovis; his siblings, Peter Bovis, Magdaline Bovis and Marjorie Bovis Myrianthopoulos; and his brothers-in-law, Dr. Ntino Myrianthopoulos and James Dimitroff.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Alexandra Kaspers (Kevin), Stephanie Sambatakos (Peter), Alexa Jenkinson (Shawn), James J. Bovis, Malia and Aria Sambatakos; his wife Irene Bovis (Angnos); his children, Christina Bovis, Charles Bovis and Thomas Bovis (Betsy); and his sister-in-law Elaine Dimitroff (Angnos). He is also survived by his grandchildren and great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
