He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James F. McKinney Jr. and Dagmar Runolfsdottir (Anna); his wife Janet of Carmel; his daughter Erin Kovacevic; his grandson Ashton Murray of Fishers; his brothers, Tom (Judy) of Bloomington and Joseph of Muncie; his uncle George McKinney; and his aunt Jean Patrick. He was also cherished by many cousins in Columbus, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.
