He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Madeline Bowman; his brothers, Billy Joe Bowman and Freddie Hazelgrowth; his sons, Michael and Glen Bowman; and his grandchildren, Barbara Jean, Jeremy and Jennifer.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Jean Bowman (Hedges); and his children, Teresa Snodgrass, Lawrence Bowman, Gerald Bowman, Cathy Bowman and Nanette Adduci. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
