Barnes and Carolyn Barnes (Collins); his spouse Barbara W. Cook; his sons, Thomas W. Barnes (Kira) and Philip H. Barnes (Laura); his granddaughters, Taran Harris-Barnes and Alea Harris-Barnes; and his nephews, James Crawford, John Crawford and William Crawford. He is also survived by numerous other nieces and nephews.
