She was predeceased by: her parents, Ivery Dedrick and Sadie Glee Dedrick (Shoultz); her husband Walter Edwin York; and her son William Edward York. She is survived by: her caregiver van; her children, Lisa Cox (Ed) of Gunter, Wally York (Andrea) of Chagrin Falls and Wayne York (John) of Dover, Ohio; her grandchildren, Brandon York (Samantha), Matthew Cox, Lauren York, Alaina Reed (Trevor) and Sarah Cox; her great grandchildren, Beckham York, Adelaide Reed and Palmer York; and her sister Elvina Rose Huntsman.
Her final wishes were in lieu of flowers to make memorial contributions to the Myeloproliferative Neoplasma Research Foundation in Georgia Sue York's name to, http://www.mpnresearchfoundation.org.
