It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emma Watkins of Carmel, Indiana, born in Winchester, Indiana, who passed away on August 11, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Nelson and Carmen Dorine Nelson (Conley); her husband Lowell Watkins; her daughter Debra Watkins; her grandson Nicholas Watkins; and her siblings, Letha Deaton, Mary Davis, Ruth Welker, William Nelson, Marie Bowers, Lowell Nelson, Thomas Nelson, Donald Nelson, Raymond Nelson and James Nelson.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Bittinger (Lowell) and Richard Watkins (Laura); and her grandchildren, Emma Bittinger, Sarah Bittinger, Richelle Kays (Cody) and Rebekah Watkins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed towards the Alzheimer's Association in Indianapolis.
