It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Egidio M. Martinez Fuenzalida of Carmel, Indiana, who passed away on January 11, 2025, at the age of 103, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Egidio may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Adela Fuenzalida of Martínez and Pedro Martínez García; and his wife Violeta. He is survived by: his daughters, Viviana Koukoulomatis (Dimitri) and Odilia Martínez (Pedro) of Gatica; and his brother Enrique Martínez (Blanca). He is also survived by 3 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
