He was predeceased by: his parents, Gideon S. Riehl and Gertrude I. Riehl (Cramer); and his brother John C. Riehl. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Riehl; his children, Jeffrey Riehl of Richmond, VA and Jodi Irwin (Scott) of Radford, VA; his grandchildren, Emily Bowen, Nathan Riehl, Megan Haun and Zachary Haun; his siblings, Mary Jane Bardwell, Alverda Groff, Paul Riehl and Gideon Riehl; and his pet Harley.
