He was predeceased by: his mother Mary McGonigal; and his grandparents, Maxine Gustafson, William and Katherine McGonigal. He is survived by: his father Edgar R. McGonigal of Orlando; his siblings, Justin Graves of Carmel and Thaya Lupo; his brother-in-law Michael Lupo; and his nephew Cillian Patrick Lupo of Orlando.
