It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Diane Mitchell of Carmel, Indiana, born in Indianapolis, Indiana, who passed away on January 4, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth VanMeter and Helen VanMeter (Leslie); and her husband Philip Mitchell. She is survived by: her son Jeffrey Chester (Amber); her grandchildren, Alixandria (Damyon), Cassandra (Shawn), Jakob and Jessica; her great grandchildren, Wyatt, Lydia, Jayson and Madelyn; her brother Kevin VanMeter (Debra); and her close friend Timothy Ball.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Susan G. Komen.
