It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Derek Robert Knief of Carmel, Indiana, born in Indianapolis, Indiana, who passed away on October 2, 2022, at the age of 41, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Linda D. Knief (Watson); and his sister Alyssa Knief. He is survived by: his father Richard "Dick" R. Knief (Vickie); his siblings, Jason Knief (Iza), Elizabeth Mayberry (Peter) and Rachel Dewhirst; and his nephews, Henry Webb and Robbie Knief.
