He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Franzman and Helen Franzman; and his wife Catherine R. Franzman. He is survived by: his children, David M. Franzman (Kim), Dana C. Root and Gail E. Dillon; his grandchildren, Ryan (Christy), Aric, Jack Franzman, Daniel, John, Adam Root, Catie Lyons (Cal) and Mallory Stone (Tate); his great grandchildren, Lucas Franzman and Luna Root; and his brother Charles Franzman (Carol).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
