He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Klingensmith and Jessie Klingensmith (Dubree); his wife Barbara Klingensmith (Helt); his former wife Yvonne Coker; his siblings, Norma Bailey, Keith Klingensmith and Howard Klingensmith; and his close friend Mary Ann Davis.
He is survived by: his daughters, Michelle Shaffer (Keith) and Tamara Klingensmith; his grandchildren, Ayrelle, Kaitie, Mary Beth, MacKenzie, Becky, Quinton, Tara and Shelby; and his close friend Brad Davis. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren; and son.
