He was predeceased by: his parents, William Scher and Ida Scher of St. Louis, Missouri.. He is survived by: his wife Carol Scher (Schulte); and his children, Tim Scher (Amy), Jan Cohoat (Matt), Sue Cox (Tim) and Dan Scher (Christine). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
