It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anton Craig Schmid of Carmel, Indiana, born in Chesterton, Indiana, who passed away on July 21, 2021, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Franz X. Schmid and Verla Schmid (Babcock). He is survived by: his wife Mary Schmid; his children, Allison Barmore (Matt), Anton F. Schmid (Jen) and Megan McFearin (Bret Horsfield); and his brothers, Franz Michel Schmid (Mick) and John Schmid. He is also survived by five beautiful grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to The Hamilton County Humane Society.
