She was predeceased by: her parents, Truman Nifong and Margaret Nifong (Metheny); her husband Harold "Pete" Gay; and her daughters, Sharon Wilson and Karen Gay.
She is survived by: her son Brent Gay (Candy); her grandchildren, Shae Wilson (Billy Quatman), Jeremy Gay and Kim Gay; and her great grandchildren, Will Quatman and Max Quatman.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Colonial Hills Baptist Church (8140 Union Chapel Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46240). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM and at 2:30 PM.
