He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Jan Guy; his children, Erik (Jaimie Morgan) and Elizabeth (Brian Ryba); his stepdaughter Michelle Mericle (Kevin McLaughlin); his stepgrandchildren, Addison and Jackson; his former wife Helga Norderhus Schultz; his pets, Bella and Lilly; and his parents, Beatrice Schultz and Wilfred Schultz. He was also cherished by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to local Meals on Wheels, where Allen volunteered wherever he lived.
