He is survived by: his children, Richard Smock (Adina) of Lyons, Tonya Bell of Linton and Rhonda Smock of Linton; his sisters, Ruby Cullison of Dugger, Norma Howard of Dodge Center and Carolyn Dunder (Steve) of Sullivan; his grandchildren, Evan Smock, Kayla Smock and Karly Smock; his close friend Carole Plummer; and also, Rob Plummer of Carlisle, Rick White Shake (Kathy) of Carlisle, Tiffany Atkinson of Sullivan, Taylr Hall (Brady), Kassie Shake (Justin Abbott), Anna Elkins (Adam), Breanna Shake, Oliva Atkinson (Austin Massey), William Atkinson, Hayden, Kenzi, Carson, Khloe, Bryson, Byron and Anderson.
