He was predeceased by: his father Pete Stott; his adoptive parents, Mary Alvis and Paul Ed Alvis; and his sister Paula Doan. He is survived by: his wife Sally Stott; his children, Max James (Arial) and Sepehara James (Jake Baxter); his grandchildren, Deavany Books, Clinton Hamilton, Jep Hamilton and Arlo James; and his siblings, Paul Mike Alvis, Janice Byruns and Karen Alvis.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Vincennes Funeral Home (524 Broadway St, Vincennes, IN 47591).
