It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dana J. Lockard of Carlisle, Indiana, who passed away on March 7, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Wright and Laura Rogers Wright; her husband Paul R. Lockard; her daughter Dana Meher; her siblings, Robert, David Wright and Carla Anderson; her granddaughter Emma Lockard; and her great grandchildren, Noah and Anna Lee Lockard.
She is survived by: her sons, Paul Lockard II (Amber Westerkamm) of Sullivan, Michael Lockard of Carlisle and Jason Wright (Tasha); her siblings, Carl Wright (Sue) of Chicago, Dede Hall of Carlisle, Sandra McGuffie of Bradenton, Juanita Ellis (Roger) of Bradenton, Judy Carter (Bill) of Carlisle and Susie Wright of Indianapolis; her grandchildren, Josh Lockard (Hannah), Ryan Lockard (Tori), Kyle Lockard, Lucas Lockard, Nicholas Lockard, Joseph Parris, Cody Fish (Madison), Megan Mehere and Bethany Mehere; her stepgreat-grandson Mattox Snap; and her great grandchildren, Jeffrey Lockard, Little Josh Lockard, Jackie Lockard, Caroline Lockard, Malcolm Lockard, Clementine Lockard, Zyler Mehere and McKenzie Parris. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Brust Funeral Home (400 N Court St, Sullivan, IN 47882). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
