He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Philabaum and Betty Philabaum (Ellison); and his sister Vickie Hardesty. He is survived by: his friend Raymond Sutherland; his niece Alonda "Lonie" Hastings; his nephew Scott Hardesty; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Brook Hastings, Michael Hardesty (Sandy), Lexus Hardesty, Taylor Hardesty (Daniel Alton), Luke Hardesty, Kate Hardesty, Cole Hardesty, Gage Hardesty and Kimberly Alton.
