It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Norris E. Thompson (Carbon, Indiana), born in Mishawaka, Indiana, who passed away on August 22, 2018, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his daughters, Sheila Marie Thompson and Diane Hooker; and his sister Betty Smith. He is survived by: his wife Joanne Jackman Thompson; his daughter Linda Williams (David) of Rosedale; his son-in-law Jack Hooker of Carbon; his sister Wilma Nicoson of Brazil; his grandchildren, Carrie Routhier (Jason), Randy Williams (Shelly), Sarah Jones (Jake) and Brandy Fisher (Stoney); his great grandchildren, Dahlia Routhier, Amelia Routhier, Finnegan Jones, Molly Jones, Nora Fisher, Haddie Fisher, Waylon Fisher and Kade Williams; and also, Phyllis West, Wayne West, Larry Jackman, Sue Jackman, Mary Chaney and Alice Waldridge. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
