She was predeceased by: her parents, Phillip Short and Nancy M. Short (Foxworthy). She is survived by: her husband Rickie Nevins; her children, Shannon Nevins, Shelly Atkinson (D. J.) and Douglas Nevins (Christy); her grandchildren, Whitney Sampson (Ricky), Justin Sampson (Jasmine), Dalton Atkinson, Hunter Atkinson, Parker Atkinson, Cooper Atkinson and Aubree Bastian; her great grandchildren, Avery Alcantar, Aria Hilderbrand, Alenna Parker, Atlas Parker and Hendrix Atkinson; and her siblings, Toni Kohler and Lauren Short.
Therefore in lieu of flowers we ask that you make donations to Clay Community Schools in care of Nancy Nevins to establish a scholarship fund for students needing assistance with the fee for their HSE test. Donations will be accepted at the funeral home or they can be mailed to Clay Community Schools 1013 S Forest Ave Brazil, IN 47834 in care of Nancy Nevins.
